Everyone has become very comfortable and dependent on the convenience of online shopping in our daily lives. Unfortunately, this convenience has had a tremendous impact on the staff at Cross Keys Animal Hospital and has become a time-consuming task. Our staff is now spending many hours of their day dealing with requests from outside pharmacies. Our main goal is to provide excellent medical care and attention to our patients. Therefore, in order to serve our patients better we will no longer fax, email, or verbally approve outside pharmacy requests beginning July 1, 2024.
If you choose to use an outside pharmacy, we will be happy to provide you with a written prescription that you can submit to the pharmacy of your choice. Please contact us by text at 856-740-3700 or email at [email protected] that you need a written prescription, and we will get it ready for you. In an effort to keep our phone lines open for emergencies, we will not be accepting these requests by phone.
We would like to remind you that we have our own online pharmacy, where we can deliver all of your pets’ medication and food right to your home. Our online pharmacy is integrated with our computer software which expedites the approval process, monitors for drug interactions and keeps your pets’ prescriptions all in your file.
